Spoiler Installation
Note: If you've previously installed our rear bumper, the spoiler attachment process is straightforward. No additional work is required, as the placement for the spoiler magnets aligns with the rear bumper magnets.
If you're installing our bumper set simultaneously, please follow the steps outlined in the bumper installation guide first, and then disregard this manual.
Recommended glue E6000
“Shoe Goo” is the 2nd best recommendation, followed by “5 Minute Epoxy”. “5 Minute Epoxy” worked during testing but occasionally became unstuck unless the bond was just right because it’s so hard, “E6000” and “Shoe Goo” have more flexibility which work better with our shells.
Spoiler Attachment Steps:
Your spoiler comes with four magnets—two enclosed within the spoiler body, and the remaining two requiring attachment to the underside of your vehicle's body. Ensuring correct orientation (polarity) during the gluing process is crucial to prevent the spoiler from being "pushed away" instead of securely held together.
Step 1:
One at a time take the two extra magnets and generously apply glue after confirming the correct orientation.
Step 2:
Align the magnets as demonstrated in the illustration below (in the very back corners).
Step 3:
Integrate the spoiler and align it precisely as shown. Accurate alignment is vital if you plan to add our Rear Bumper down the road. Leave the spoiler attached during the drying period to maintain magnet positioning.
Step 4:
Allow the glue to dry according to the manufacturer's recommendations for the chosen adhesive. For instance, E6000 recommends 1-2 days. Even if using a faster-drying epoxy, we advise letting it dry overnight before attempting to remove the bumpers, as these magnets are exceptionally strong.
Once the glue has dried you can add and remove or change your Spoiler as desired.

Addressing Potential Challenges:
Should you encounter any challenges during the process, rest assured, solutions are within reach. Consider the following recommendations for a smoother experience:
Optimal Adhesive Selection:
Insight: Our preferred choice, E6000, has consistently delivered success. If you're using a different adhesive and experiencing issues, consider switching to E6000 for optimal results.
Reapplication with Care:
Suggestion: Give it a second try! Applying a slightly increased amount of adhesive during your second attempt might enhance the bonding process.
Surface Preparation:
Tip: Ensure a clean canvas! Prior to gluing, confirm both the vehicle shell and magnets are free from any contaminants.
Precision in Glue Application:
Reminder: Exercise caution when applying glue. Avoid any contact with the bumper or lower magnet, ensuring an unobstructed connection between the lower and upper magnets. Any glue between the magnets or dripping onto the Bumper will cause an issue.
Optional Surface Scuffing:
Consideration: While generally not necessary, if you encounter challenges, lightly scuffing the vehicle shell with sandpaper before gluing is an option.
Caution with Hot Glue Guns:
Important Note: It's crucial to highlight that using a hot glue gun may not provide sufficient strength to remove the magnets. The magnetic bond surpasses the capabilities of a hot glue gun.
Rest assured, these steps are designed to optimize your experience and ensure a reliable and robust connection. If you ever need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out. Your satisfaction is our priority!
